Technical Document Solutions Ltd are delighted to announce yet another milestone in the development of TDOC.
TDOC already enables electronic communications with its users' trading partners over the web thus allowing both parties not only to keep their own records (so retaining their contractual position), but also to meet the specified document control requirements of ISO9001.
TDOC now enables users to access their information and documents from off site from though a simple internet connection, whether it be working from home, hotel, or on the train.
TDOC uses the Advantage Database Server which provides a fast and simple, non-HTML solution to directly access data using the Internet. Advantage's Internet functionality allows remote users to experience the same security, integrity, and performance as is available with LAN-based access, with the added benefit of using the Internet
The unique non-HTML architecture of Advantage's Internet functionality allows TDOC users to connect over the internet to their data and documents remotely meaning that no additional user training or support is required.
By simply obtaining access to the Internet via any local Internet service provider, remote users can instantly access the TDOC database in their office bringing real-time client/server access
Since Advantage's Internet functionality is embedded, any server computer running Windows or Linux, that has an Internet (TCP/IP) connection can host a TDOC Database and make it available via the web.
